Data base and tool for studying of active region magnetic configuration and positions of solar flares
New version and Old version

This tool contains the various data of those sunspot regions that produced large flares (class M and X) between 1996 and 2014. The presentation uses the data of SOHO/MDI Debrecen Data (SDD) and SDO/HMI Debrecen Data (HMIDD) sunspot catalogue, the SOHO/MDI, SOHO/EIT, SDO/HMI, SDO/AIA images, GOES and RHESSI solar flare data bases. The evolution of sunspot groups and positions of solar flares are animated to track the pre-flare dynamics of active regions with ~1-1.5 hour time resolution.

Online queries for tilt-angle data

Online queries for tilt-angles are available for Debrecen Photoheliographic Data (DPD) and SOHO/MDI-Debrecen Data (SDD) showing the available selection criteria. The selected data can be downloaded as a text file.

Online queries for position and area data of sunspots and sunspot groups

Online query is availabale to apply various selection criteria for Debrecen Photoheliographic Data (DPD) and Greenwich Photoheliographic Data (GPR) as well as for SOHO/MDI-Debrecen Data (SDD) showing the available selection criteria. The selected data can be downloaded as a text file.

Solar Monitor
www.solarmonitor.org

A Solar Monitor useful online tool, we also use it every day for sunspot data catalogue to identify sunspot regions (vid. NOAA number). Furthermore on this site can find tools to various digital image observations of the satellite's instruments which are available, and predictions for the actual solar activity (vid. Solar Flare Forecasting), in maintaining of TCD and e-INIS in Ireland.
