Debrecen Photoheliographic Data

The Debrecen Photoheliographic Data (DPD) sunspot catalogue (database) is compiled as a continuation of Greenwich Photoheliographic Results (GPR). This program has been commissioned by the International Astronomical Union. The basic data in a sunspot catalogue are the heliographic positions and the areas of the sunspots. The data are supplemented with images of sunspot groups, scans of full-disk white-light observations, and magnetic observations as well as their user-friendly HTML presentation. The catalogue is mainly based on our own (Debrecen and Gyula) full-disk white-light observations but the gaps in our observations are filled in with solar images from other observatories.
